What we’re about
Toastmasters International has been helping people to overcome their nervousness when speaking to an audience since 1924. If you would like to increase your confidence and skills to deliver effective presentations and learn how to speak off the cuff, please join us for an entertaining evening of structured, professional, interactive communication in a friendly, supportive environment.
Mt Albert Toastmasters is a vibrant and fun club. We believe enjoyment enhances learning. You are welcome to attend as a guest for up to three meetings. You don't have to stand up and speak as a guest, you can relax and observe how the club works to determine if we're the right club for you. If you are interested in becoming a member, we can provide you with all the details about joining our club when you attend a meeting.
Our meetings are held every second Thursday in the beautiful and historical Ferndale House at 830 New North Road. The meeting runs from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. It is best to arrive at 7:20 pm so we can be organized for a prompt start.
