Super Mario Party Fun Run!

Mama mia! Have you ever heard of the Hash House Harriers? It's a worldwide organization with the catchphrase "Drinkers with a Running Problem". A typical event (or "hash") involves one runner (the "hare") who has a head start and lays out the trail for the rest of the people (the "harriers") to follow. Along the way, there are mini-games and usually at least a couple of stops to enjoy some drinks along the way. At the end of the trail, there is a celebration with more drinking and the singing of bawdy songs.

This trail is Super Mario Party themed, so attendees are encouraged to come dressed up as their favorite Super Mario game character, or wear Super Mario themed attire. It costs $7 cash at the beginning of the event and that will buy you all the beer you can (responsibly) drink. The end of the trail is not known, but it will be within an easy walk from the starting location.

Typically at least half of the people who show up prefer to walk instead of run. Length of the running trail will be approximately a 5K (about 3 miles) and the walking trail will be shorter than that. As I said, there are lots of stops along the way, so this won't be a continuously run trail either!

Dogs are welcome on trail, but are not allowed inside the starting venue. This is definitely NOT a child-friendly event, so leave the kids at home!
