San Diego Conversation Meetup Group

We are a diverse group of people who believe that the untouchable topics that tend to divide people, can be held in conversation in new and better ways. We get together quarterly to discover the positive and developmental side of conflict. With buzz topics like moral relativism, abortion, identity politics and other bangers, we seek to discover a conversation elevated above the factioning and hate we witness on social media and other digital mediums. Part of our sense is that these conversations deserve in person, long form treatment. We believe that there is power and growth in the tension and hope to rediscover the age old medium of live interpersonal conversation and debate in a spirit of goodwill. To do so, we provide rules of engagement at all of our meetings that not only facilitate healthy interactions and hopefully give the participant a sense of discovery.
