HIKERS: Join Me in Ecuador (via Zoom!) to Explore the Andes & Amazon Nature Quest Trip (departing Feb 7, 2026)

This February, the Ottawa-Gatineau Adventurers are heading south for a one-of-a-kind hiking trip through Ecuador — from the high Andes to the lush Amazon. Think volcano hikes, canyoning through waterfalls, hot springs, ziplining, jungle rivers, and more. It will be an amazing adventure with a little something for everyone.

I’m Alison, the trip organizer, and I’ll be joining you live from my home in Mindo — one of the stops along the extended (13-day) journey. Mindo is a beautiful little cloud forest village in the Andes known for its hummingbirds (& birds in general), waterfalls, hiking, chocolate, and adventure sports — and I’d love to give you a taste of what it’s like there.

Join me on Tuesday, October 14, 6:30–7:30 pm ET for an online session where we’ll:
· Walk through the highlights of the Andes & Amazon Nature Quest
(both the 9-day & 13-day options)
· Talk about what kind of hiking and other fun activities you can expect
· Give you a feel for Ecuador’s landscapes, culture, and pace of life
· Answer all your questions about the February trip
