5th June Meetup, The Power of Perspective, Start time is 6pm.
Note this is a great session to come along to get an understanding of what my group is about and what my sessions are like.
This is a free event at 55 Spring Gardens M2 2BY, behind Moose Coffee and just across from the Alchemist Bar.
Potentialisation (Meetup Group) has kindly allowed me to put on this event in conjunction with them and to use their office space in Central Manchester.
Please come along for a free talk with tea and coffee provided.
This talk is all about the perspectives we experience in our everyday lives and how they effect us.
It can be tempting to assume that when we’ve taken a look at something once that we know it all, in full detail, inside and out, but do we really? Are we seeing clearly, or are we adopting a first impression that could blind us to truly seeing the potential (or reality) of a person or thing?
As we grow from childhood, we adopt perspectives (or takes) on the world from our parents and peers. We include these perspectives as part of our routine that we may revisit daily, but rarely question their appropriateness or value with respect to the moment. What if in questioning these perspectives, we could deliver ourselves more: time, speed, effectiveness, meaningful experiences and relationships?
This talk reflects on common perspectives used in the world that can add value, it reflects on the value of the perspectives we use and challenges the audience to consider how they might add, remove or perpetuate those perspectives that bring more value to their world.
Hope to see you there.
