What we’re about
If you’re interested in developing your painting and drawing skills alongside like-minded people, this Meetup is for you! Absolute beginners and those more experienced in the arts are all welcome.
Learn in a relaxed, friendly environment with qualified art teachers who have over 25 years’ experience leading award-winning art departments (including the TES Award for Outstanding Innovation in Teaching and Learning).
Our new theme, “Around the World in Arty Days™,” invites you to explore art, colour, and culture from across the globe. Each session is a creative adventure inspired by a different country, complete with high-quality materials, expert guidance, and your first glass of wine on us. 🍷
At Art at the Heart, we’re different because social responsibility is as important to us as our passion for great art. We founded Art at the Heart CIC, a not-for-profit organisation, to add value to communities through inclusive arts and culture.
We run small, personalised art sessions to help you grow at your own pace, while offering opportunities to get involved in community art projects and exhibitions.
When you join our Meetup, you’ll not only develop your artistic confidence and wellbeing, you’ll also be helping us make a positive difference in the community.
Join us for creativity, connection, and a little bit of adventure, one Arty Day at a time.

I also find it very interesting when they discuss the work of other artists, using examples of their drawings or paintings" - Helen
> "A very enjoyable day with a good mix of teacher-led and independent painting. Some excellent tailored guidance to each one of us in order to develop as artists" - Veronique
> "Your classes continue to be excellent! Your teaching style is just as well suited to online as it is face to face and I am enjoying learning about art by looking at different paintings with the group each week. Thank you for all your hard work in the background, planning your classes and for your enthusiasm as you talk about the subject! It really is great" - Heather
