Run/Walk 5K Training Group — Saturday Mornings
Want to train for a 5K in a supportive, fun group? Join us every Saturday morning at 8:00 AM as we build up with a run/walk plan designed to get everyone moving comfortably.
We’ll be training together until the Turkey Trail 5K on Sunday, November 2, but you’re welcome to come run/walk with us even if you don’t plan to do the race!
Who: All paces welcome (beginner + walk/run friendly)
When: Saturdays, 9:30 AM, Aug 23 → Nov 1
Where: Quail Lake
Goal Race (Optional): Turkey Trail 5K — Sun, Nov 2
Bring: Water, running/walking shoes, and good vibes!
What to Expect Each Week
• Gentle warm-up + stretch
• Run/walk intervals that gradually build in distance and confidence
• Encouragement, community, and tips for getting stronger each week
• Cool-down + optional coffee afterwards ☕
Come every week, or drop in whenever you can — no pressure. Whether you’re chasing a race goal or just want a weekly fitness boost, you’re invited!
