East of the bathrooms When looking at the bathrooms – to the right Transportation on your own ----- Float at your own risk One option to accomplish the activity – • Park at Ann Morrison – Catch the 1pm Bus to Barber Park - $4.00 • Bring your own pumps – no air at Barber Park. • OR Rent floatation from Boise River Raft & Tube Rentals (boiseriverraftandtube.com) *** meet Paul in grassy area to the east of the bathroom *** • FLOAT THE RIVER –Put-in time for the Group will be at 2 pm o It will take about 2 hrs to reach Ann Morrison • Enjoy BBQ • If you rented raft -- turn your rented raft over to the Bus and they will take it back to Boise River Raft & Tube Rentals • Find car at Ann Morrison Another Option to accomplish the activity - • Drive to and park at Barber Park $7.00 – unless you park outside the park along S Eckert Rd • Bring your own pumps – no air at Barber Park. • OR Rent floatation from Boise River Raft & Tube Rentals (boiseriverraftandtube.com) • FLOAT THE RIVER –Put-in time for the Group will be at 2 pm o It will take about 2 hrs to reach Ann Morrison • Enjoy BBQ • Catch a Boise River Raft bus back to Barber Park - $4.00 each person o Buses run every hour until 9:00pm on Friday. o If you rented Raft, turn your rented raft over the Bus and they will take it back to Boise River Raft & Tube Rentals o You can deflate your floatation and there is room at the back of the bus for hauling deflated paddle boards, tubes, rafts, and kayaks. Not sure there is room for hard plastic kayaks or paddle boards. And Another Option to accomplish the activity - • Find Friends – find friends with pickup trucks to haul float toys • Figure out to meet at Ann Morrison – leave a vehicle at Ann Morrison • Take float toys and people up to Barber Park – unload and park • FLOAT THE RIVER –Put in time for the Group will be at 2pm o It will take about 2 hrs to reach Ann Morrison • Enjoy BBQ • Get your ride back to Barber Park and pickup 2nd vehicle • If you rented raft -- turn your rented raft over the Bus and they will take it back to Boise River Raft & Tube Rentals • There are a few other ways to float the river – but I think these are the 2 main ones. Setup crew Sussette and Nancy ( and others ) can help with setup and food -- watermelon, cold salads, chips, beers, sodas, waters -- all for a small donation of $5 for individuals or $15 for families to cover the costs of the food and shelter.
