Bring Your Own Book Club – STATE LIBRARY
Love reading but don’t always want to commit to the same book as everyone else? The Bring Your Own Book Club is for you!
On the second Saturday of each month, we gather at the state library to share what we’ve been reading.
Whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, classics, fantasy, memoirs, or something completely unexpected, we swap recommendations, chat about genres, authors, and writing styles, and celebrate the joy of reading without the pressure of sticking to one book.
✨ When: Second Saturday of every month, 10:30am
📍 Where: State library - Directions below!
Bring your book, your thoughts, and your love of reading. Everyone is welcome!
There is no set finish time, it just depends how many people turn up and how much we talk about the books :)
Meeting Location - We will meet on the ground floor of the library In the "Infozone" building.
If you are coming from the direction of the culture centre bus stop, walk towards the state library entrance. On the ground floor the building on the right is the infozone.
We will meet in the big room through the indigenous display. Once you walk through the doors to the infozone building keep walking straight and you will see the entrance on the left. The staff desk should be able to point in you in the right direction as well. Please message me via meetup if you get lost
