Hi ladies..I'm interested in attracting those of you in your 60's and 70's with similar values and world views for socializing and friendship..My intent is to provide a warm and inclusive space for liberal women to connect, share experiences, and build lasting friendships..
Whether you're new to the area, looking to expand your social circle, or simply seeking genuine connections, our group is a safe space where you can share your thoughts, experiences, and challenges without judgement..
The majority of meetups will be held weekdays for breakfast/lunch and whatever else we might like to do that doesn't involve kayaking, jewelry-making or painting something..lol
I like to keep the group active with women who are genuinely interested in showing up and building real connections. Totally get that not every date works, but if someone’s not really planning to participate much, this group probably won’t feel like a great fit..I’m a pretty hands-on organizer because I care about keeping the group meaningful and welcoming for those who are invested in being part of it..

Please Read – Important Message for New Members
Due to a recent more than 80% increase in the organizer subscription fee charged by Meetup, I now ask for a $5 contribution from each member attending a meetup. This was never something I wanted to do, as I’ve always run this group out of a love for connection--not profit. Unfortunately, the steep and sudden price hike has made it necessary in order to keep the group going.
To keep things easy, please bring an extra $5 cash with you when you attend a meetup. I’ll have a designated envelope set aside just for this purpose. Once the needed amount is reached for the six-month cycle, I won’t collect again until the next one.
