Hello! Are you a young introvert looking to expand your social circle?

Please join us for a friendly two-hour gathering where you can connect face-to-face with other 19 to 30 year olds who enjoy stories, movies, history, etc. We will provide themed conversation starters to help break the ice, leading into open discussion. This is a chance for authentic, relaxing, old-fashioned socializing without the distraction of flashing social media.
We welcome new and recurring visitors!

(Please keep in mind this event does not allow offenders)

Month Theme: Stephen King’s
THE LONG WALK (2025 film)

Event Details:

  • Time: 5:30 PM (Starting on Sat Aug 22. Ending on Sat Aug 30) Saturdays & Sundays
  • Location: Starbucks 1734 Sherman Ave, Evanston, IL 60201
  • Activity: To kick off our discussion, we will begin with a "Short Walk"—a 20 to 30-minute stroll starting from and returning to Starbucks. Obviously nothing dire, no competition, no gender preference and no speed limit. Just a little simulation of the film’s theme as we begin discussing it.

Note: If you arrive late, no worries! Please feel free to wait inside the Starbucks until the group returns.

Hope to see you there!

Your host, Nicole.
