"Sarushima"is the only natural island in Tokyo Bay and the largest uninhabited island within the bay. Once a "fortress island" with gun batteries and ammunition depots that served as the key to protecting Tokyo Bay, you can now freely stroll around the island and enjoy the unique scenery that combines historical heritage, preserved in its original state, with pristine nature.

東京湾に浮かぶ唯一の自然島であり、湾内最大の無人島の猿島。かつては東京湾を守る要として砲台と弾薬庫のある“要塞の島”であったこの島は、現在では島内を自由に散策することができ、当時のままの姿で残された歴史遺産と、ありのままの自然が融合した他に類を見ない独自の風景を楽しむことができます。
