🦋hydrangeas&Kamakura Alps
Details
🧐A member asked me,
“Why doesn't Kamakura have a castle?"
That's a good point‼️
🏯 A castle is a fortified residence built with walls and other structures to protect a military base from outside invaders.
Odawara Castle was built around 1500 during the Sengoku period, and the Kamakura period was even earlier, around 1200.
Therefore, the land of Kamakura itself served the role of a castle.
It's surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the nearby sea is shallow, making it impossible for ships to reach.
🤩Look at this place‼️
🪻After seeing the hydrangeas,
you can see the land of mountain castle from hill of this place‼️
*〜Kamakura is known as a famous spot for hydrangeas.
