Mcquade Bayou Trail

Two trail options: short (3.7 miles) and long (5.8 miles), both leaving and returning to the same spot.
Trail is mostly firm and dry with some soft patches. Be prepared for some water crossings (ankle deep) though I hiked the longer trail today in sneakers and got wet only once. It was refreshing By Sunday it may be considerably drier.
There is a wooden bridge crossing over Little Bayou on the long trail that is really nice.
We are a friendly group representing all age and abilities. Hike at your own pace.
