About us

The basics! At Silent Book Club® there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks or audiobooks, poetry or prose, fiction or non-fiction... it's BYOBook!
We start with some general socializing, and then spend about an hour reading together in quiet camaraderie. Afterwards, we talk about we've been reading.

We meet in person once a month on Saturdays- usually the first Saturday of the month but that can change depending on the availability of our venues.

Bring whatever book you want to read

No cost for the club, but we do encourage you to buy a drink or pastry from our hosts, Frothy Moon

Dress in layers in case it gets hot or cold

Bring airpods/headphones if you are sensitive to noise.

From 1-1:30, it's check-in and mingle time. Then we read for an hour, followed by time to talk with others about what you're reading.

Also- you can park in the overflow lot by the Antique store if the small lot to the right of FM is full.

PS The free version of Meetup limits registration to 10 before moving to a waitlist, but in reality, if you sign up, you are welcome to attend!
