We would like to invite you to join us in a journey/ deep dive into the Google cloud. We are joining forces with Google. They are so kind to host this event at their HQ in Amsterdam.

Summary
We will start with a hands-on approach to 'lift' applications, transitioning them from on-premises infrastructure to Virtual Machines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Following this, we will dive into GCP's more advanced services, with a spotlight on containerization and Kubernetes. During the session we will also take a look at using functionality from Vertex AI, providing attendees a comprehensive understanding of the seamless bridge between cloud computing and AI technologies.

Program & Background
You will leave our workshop with the knowledge and hands-on experience with moving workloads to the Google Cloud (lift), migrating them to a modern cloud-native solution and utilizing the Google AI tools (transform).

Target Audience
DevOps engineers / Ops Engineers / Dev engineers with strong infrastructure knowledge.

Objectives

• Get started with Google Cloud
• Hands-on lift & transform a traditional VMWare workload
• Learn about containerization possibilities within GCP
• Hands-on migration and modernize your workload in a containerized solution
• Hands-on utilizing Google AI tools to process data from one (or more sources)

• Your laptop + charger

• IDE of your choice (optional)

Important: Make sure you have this ready on your laptop before the start of the workshop. The workshop will be given in English.
