Between the Lines

In this Write it out meeting, we will continue developing our writing by focusing on how meaning and interaction are built on the page.

We will begin with a short recap and follow up from our previous session, with space for optional sharing and reflection.
From there, we will move into a guided brainstorming activity around dialogue. How do we represent a situation or exchange between people? How can the same interaction shift depending on context, tone, or intention?

We will then explore how underlying patterns of interaction shape the way we communicate. These “building blocks” influence how we understand situations and respond to them, and we will look at how this can be applied in writing. Through a short task, we will have the chance to experiment with (re)writing a scene and observing how small changes can transform it.

As always, there will be dedicated writing time, optional sharing, and space for discussion in a supportive, pressure free environment.

No preparation is required. Just bring something to write with and a willingness to explore.

Sessions are led in English. You are welcome to write in any language you feel comfortable with.

We will be meeting at Vearte Galería, a relaxed and creative space in Alicante. The venue asks for a 3 euro contribution, which includes a drink and helps support the gallery.
