Boston Ballet celebrates the coming of spring with three vibrant works, with innovation and boundary-pushing at the core. On the program is Blake Works III, a masterful set of choreography by William Forsythe set to the dynamic music of British electronic musician and producer James Blake. Jiri Kylian's much loved Bella Figura will also be performed, a hauntingly beautiful piece exploring intimacy and human connection.
Finally, Boston Ballet will premiere a brand new work by Ken Ossala, commissioned specially for this show. Inspired by the sculpture work of Michelango, the piece features a score by Mischa Santora, music director for the Boston Ballet.
