6:00 PM - 6:45 PM: "Operational visibility in distributed systems" - Mohammed Fazalullah
In this session, we will cover approaches on how to gain operational visibility into production systems, and troubleshoot failures with software instrumentation. We will cover the approaches to instrumentation, some best practices, and some services you can use (managed and open source) to achieve operational visibility in your systems.

7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: What's new in Java 20, Closing Notes - Jad Salhani
In this session we will cover the latest updates of Java 20, what new features to look out for, and impact they will have.
Event Speakers:
Mohammed Fazalullah (call me “Faz”) is a Senior Developer Advocate at AWS for the MENA region. He is based in the UAE and educates and empowers developers on achieving cloud capabilities, allowing them to concentrate on interesting problems while AWS handles the heavy lifting. An architect and a technical evangelist at heart, he speaks on various trends in the technology space with the focus of building and scaling in the cloud in and around Asia. He has designed and built products for over 17 years in the enterprise and SME space, along with building engineering teams and helping them scale.
Jad Salhani is a Software Engineer who has dived into the software engineering world since his second year of university. Since then, he has experimented with almost all major technologies ranging from Ionic Framework, Angular, Laravel to Swift, Objective-C and Android.
Currently, Jad is working as Solution Architect at PwC Middle East, and has built many applications using Ionic framework, Swift and Android Java, as well as their backend systems using PHP and Laravel.
In his free-time, Jad loves to mentor students on Codementor.io, as well as contribute to open-source projects or create libraries / tools of his own to share with the community.
