Greetings OWASP Birmingham members!
We are excited to announce our second Meetup of 2023 on Thursday, November 16th once again at Hays in One Colmore Square.
This in-person Meetup will feature two fantastic infosec talks from our knowledgeable speakers.

6.30pm - TALK #1 "Social engineering adventures of a pentester"
Speaker: Tirath Rai
Synopsis : This is about my experience of performing social engineering (SE) assessments as a pentester who is no expert on the subject of performing physical work.
I volunteered to be pushed in at the deep end on an SE job and had to learn quickly which was a little scary. I hope there will be something useful you take away from the talk, whatever your interest in security relates to.

7.15pm - TALK #2 "The art of secure software: Zero-trust delivery pipelines"
Speaker: Jim Gumbley
Synopsis: Jim will delve into the world of zero-trust delivery pipelines and present a secure architecture for deployment pipelines in the cloud, combining not only effective vulnerability management but also robust protection from penetration by attackers.
