Online Meet and Greet & Syllabus Preview - Vancouver Lucid Dreamers

This is an online kickoff event designed to gauge interest, connect with the community, and shape the direction of our future meetups. In-person gatherings will begin around September.

What to Expect:

• Meet & Greet – Connect with other dream enthusiasts, share your background, and hear about their journeys.
• Organizer Presentation – Overview of the full lucid dreaming course that will guide future events. Topics go far beyond “how to get lucid,” including:
• The history and cultural roots of lucid dreaming across civilizations
• Neuroscience of REM sleep, dream generation, and consciousness
• Ethics and psychology of dream control
• Advanced stabilization and dream manipulation techniques
• Crossovers with meditation, hypnosis, and altered states
• Community Building – Introductions, casual conversation, and networking with like-minded explorers.
• Shaping the Future – This first meeting will help determine:
• The size and style of venues we’ll use
• The mix of in-person and online events
• Which complex topics to prioritize in the schedule
