Newcastle upon Tyne Mastering the Art of Small-Batch Roasting

We are getting together for an afternoon focused on the practical side of small-batch coffee roasting. This session is designed for anyone currently roasting at home or in a small professional setting who wants to refine their process and share what they have learned. We will be looking at how to manage heat application and airflow to get the most out of different bean origins, rather than sticking to a rigid set of rules.

Whether you are just starting out or have been experimenting with your own setup for a while, this is a space to compare notes and taste some recent roasts. It is a casual environment, so please bring along any questions or challenges you have encountered at your roaster. We will have a small setup running for demonstration, but the main goal is to learn from each other and talk through the craft.
