Sit with It is a community dedicated to slowing down, connecting authentically, and supporting wellbeing through meaningful shared experiences.
In a world that often encourages us to stay busy, move on quickly, or always have the right answer, Sit with It offers something different: a space to pause.
Whether you're looking for thoughtful conversation, quiet reflection, creative expression, or simply the comfort of being around others, you're welcome here.
Our events explore themes such as emotional wellbeing, psychology, self-reflection, relationships, creativity, mindfulness, and personal growth. Some evenings have a theme, while others are intentionally unstructured, inviting you to chat, journal, play a game, or simply sit in comfortable silence.
There is no pressure to socialise, perform, or share more than you want to. Listening is just as valuable as speaking, and showing up exactly as you are is enough.
Sit with It is not a therapy or support group, and our events are not a substitute for professional mental health care. Instead, we are a community that values curiosity, empathy, reflection, and genuine human connection. We aim to create spaces where people can slow down, share experiences if they choose, and leave feeling a little more connected—to themselves and to others.

Join us for a relaxed evening focused on creating meaningful spaces for reflection, connection, and simply being human together.
This is not your typical meetup. There are no networking goals, icebreakers, or expectations to be outgoing. Whether you'd like to chat, listen, journal, play a card game, or simply spend some quiet time around other people, you're welcome here.
Many of us spend our days rushing from one thing to the next. This evening is an opportunity to slow down, check in with yourself, and share a space with others in a way that feels comfortable and natural.
Throughout the evening, there will be a selection of optional activities and games designed to encourage conversation, creativity, and reflection. These may include conversation cards, journaling prompts, simple card or board games, creative activities, mindfulness exercises, or quiet reflection. You're welcome to join in, move between activities, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

About the facilitator:
Hi everyone! I am Gayatri, and I am really glad that you are here. I am a psychologist based in Berlin with years of experience working with children and adults. Over the years, I realised how important it is to have spaces where people can simply slow down, feel less pressured, and are not expected to have all the answers.
That is why I started Sit with It. I want to build a space where people can have meaningful conversations, reflect, play a game, have a good laugh, or just sit in silence.There is no right way to participate. Listening is participation. Silence is welcome. Showing up is enough.
This event is not therapy, group counselling, or a support group. It is a community gathering designed to encourage wellbeing, reflection, and authentic human connection. My role as a facilitator is to provide a safe and respectful space where everyone can participate in a way they feel comfortable.Optional check-ins:
You are welcome to reflect on your experience with me, in pairs, or in small groups.The event is free to attend. If you would like to support future Sit with It gatherings, optional contributions from €3 onwards are appreciated and help cover the costs of organising materials, activities, and future events.
