Rochester R Users Group Meetup!

Welcome to the first Rochester R user meetup! We are thrilled to have you join us on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 6pm. This community-run event will be hosted at the University of Rochester's Goergen Institute for Data Science.

During this first meetup, we will begin with introductions and a discussion of the meetup's cadence. The plan is to meet monthly where we will have a volunteer speaker present something R-related. It can be a high level or deep. It can be beginner or advanced.

We will also seek volunteers to help plan and organize future events. To give a flavor of the sessions, Abbas will have a quick introduction of Quarto (https://quarto.org/).

We kindly ask that attendees bring a laptop, as we will be diving into some hands-on activities. Light refreshments will be provided. It's important to note that while R experience is not necessary to attend, we will not be spending too much time troubleshooting installation issues during the meetup. If you need help with installation, please reach out to us before or after the meetup.
