Hi All - Thank you for those that attended the first couple of meetup events of Knowing God! I enjoyed our conversation and look forward to additional discussions on God. As this is an evolving group and as others join I can adapt our meetup group topics/ideas, for this meeting we can start with a couple of questions to get the conversation going (listed below); and then transition to two different parables in Scripture for further thoughts.

As a friendly reminder, this group is open to anyone that has questions on God, purpose, life, etc. My hope is these themes come up naturally as we talk though the opening questions and readings.

Opening Discussion Questions:

  1. How do you believe God calls us to Himself?
  2. What is a memorable quote, book, story or Scripture verse that has changed you?

For the next part of the meetup group we will read through the following two parables and have a discussion on each. Please see below the Parable and the verses:

  1. The Parable of the Lost Son (Luke 15:11-32)
  2. The Parable of the Lost Sheep/Lost Coin (Luke 15:1-10)
