About: The Taizé Community is an interdenominational Christian community located in the village of Taizé, France. It has grown into one of the world’s most visited centers of Christian pilgrimage, drawing more than 100,000 young people each year. At the heart of its contemplative life are simple, meditative chants, prayer, and silence. The Taizé form of prayer has since spread worldwide, widely embraced by both Protestant and Catholic communities.
