Hike at Maquoketa state park

Come join us to Hike at Iowa's #1 voted best state park for a 6 mile hike. Thishiddem gem is the most amazing park you will experience within 3hrs from Chicago. It's a must if you have not hiked it!
We will explore the Dance hall cave along with many other caves, then head through valley along the river and back.

I suggest good hiking boots and a flashlight for this event. Also, pack a lunch, snacks, and water as there is no food in the park and it will take us a while to explore.
We will be hiking trails, going into caves, stairclimbs, and doing some uphills. The caves will be wet as well as some trail sections near the river.

Meet us at the main parking area, which is on the main road in the center of the park, 2 min after the main entrance. you will see public restrooms to your left and staircases to your right.

This park is 2.5 hours away from Naperville. Option to stay Saturday night you don't want to make the whole commute in one day.
