What we’re about
This is a group for women in their late 30s/40s (with the ability to socialize without children- whether you are childless, have grown up children or just have a great babysitter) and would like to expand their adult social circle for great chats, far too many coffees, much cake and a whole lotta laughter.
Guidelines for Group Behaviour
1. Show Up and Be on Time
- RSVP honestly- only say “yes” if you plan to attend.
- Arrive on time (where possible, transport can be unreliable!).
- Cancel respectfully and early if plans change.
2. Participate Actively
- Contribute regularly and meaningfully.
- Stay engaged and involved in discussions, show an interest in other members.
- Leave the phone aside for a few hours and be present.
3. Respect Everyone
- Listen actively when others speak.
- Avoid interrupting or dismissing other ideas.
4. Respect Privacy
- Do not share information/ photos of members outside of the group.
- Treat members' contact information (e.g. phone numbers) with respect.
- Let the organiser know if any member is causing discomfort/ overstepping boundaries.
