What we’re about
Hi, plant lovers! My name is Missy Rohs, and I run the Arctos School of Herbal Studies. We offer classes in medicine making, botanical identification, medicinal gardening, mushroom hunting, bioregional ecology, herbal remedies, wildcrafting, urban foraging, and more. We have a strong emphasis on sustainability and a passion for social justice that informs our work.
Join this group to not just hear about our upcoming classes, from neighborhood walks to seven-month immersion programs, but also to learn about free herbalism-related offerings in the Portland area!
Please note that for most events, registration is required through our website, arctosschool.org. When you register through our website, you'll be given all the details, including exact location, that you'll need for the event. If you'd like to post an event that's free to the public, let me know!

We’ll talk about which parts to use and which plants to avoid. You may even discover a new use for a plant you thought you knew well!
