** Rescheduled** Easy Greenway Hike: Alcoa Greenway

** This hike is a reschedule from January 10 due to bad weather conditions at that time.**
Starting at the North Greenway parking area we will proceed to Springbrook Park passing under Pellissippi Parkway, over Pistol Creek twice, and around the Alcoa Duck Pond along the way. After circling Springbrook Park where we have a restroom stop, we will proceed to a new section of the Greenway that will take us back to our cars.
* Total hike distance is 7.5 miles on pavement, rated Easy.

* Our Easy hikes are: usually 5 miles or less and up to 1000' elevation change (on trail). Hikers should be comfortable hiking at a 1.5-2.0 mph pace with 300+ feet of continuous elevation gain over a mile.
