Saturday Easy Hike - UT Arboretum

The University of Tennessee Arboretum is a 250 acre research and education facility that has over 2,500 native and exotic woody plant specimens that represent 800 species, varieties, and cultivars. It serves as a classroom, a laboratory, and its trails are part of the Tennessee Recreational Trail System. We will check out which variety of plant life is getting ready for spring in this nearby treasure! We will walk about 1 to 2 miles exploring and taking in the spring weather.
* Total hike distance is 1 to 2 miles; rated Easy.

* Our Easy hikes are: 5 miles or less and up to 1000' elevation change (on trail). Hikers should be comfortable hiking at a 1.5-2.0 mph pace with 300+ feet of continuous elevation gain over a mile.
