What we’re about
Prime Time Singles' aim is to create fun and camaraderie for those singles ages 40+ or those that consider themselves in the prime of their lives.
We want to explore the DFW area, have new experiences, develop friendships, and (most importantly) have fun!
We ask that all of our members be respectful of each other and to behave appropriately when interacting, either at Meetup events or in outside-of-event communications. Thank you for your consideration!

The Texas Theatre is presenting a Akiro Kurosawa retrospective, featuring many of the Japanese filmmaker's greatest films. Whether you are a fan or have no idea who this filmmaker is, if you like movies, put these films on your calendar! Seven Samurai (1954), Sun, Aug. 3, 5:15 pm; The Hidden Fortress (1958), Thurs, Aug. 7, 7 pm; Throne of Blood (1957), Sun, Aug. 10, 3 pm; Ran (1985), Sun, Aug. 17, 3 pm
**NOTE: These films will be in Japanese (with subtitles) and can be lengthy (check the end times)**

The historic Texas Theatre, in the heart of the Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts area - is nearly 100 years old and is maybe best known as the place where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested in 1963. They show first-run, indie, and locally-made films and host many special events - including recent or upcoming appearances from Francis Ford Coppola, Oliver Stone, Ethan Hawke, the cast of Twin Peaks, and others.
