The Texas Theatre is presenting a Akiro Kurosawa retrospective, featuring many of the Japanese filmmaker's greatest films. Whether you are a fan or have no idea who this filmmaker is, if you like movies, put these films on your calendar! Seats are general admission, so we should be able to all sit together.

The historic Texas Theatre, in the heart of the Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts area - is nearly 100 years old and is maybe best known as the place where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested in 1963. They show first-run, indie, and locally-made films and host many special events - including recent or upcoming appearances from Francis Ford Coppola, Oliver Stone, Ethan Hawke, the cast of Twin Peaks, and others.
