Bok Tower Gardens - Photo Assignment

Join Foto Dono for a photo assignment to Bok Tower Gardens.

## About this event

Foto Dono is heading on the road to photograph Bok Tower Gardens on Friday, September 23trd. The trip is a self-assignment photo field trip. You are welcome to join him as he explores and captures macro and landscape photos. The journey is rain or shine, so come prepared.

The event isn't a class but an opportunity to shoot in a fantastic location on a Florida hill. Dono will be there to provide instruction to those who need it. There is no fee. Entrance fees and transportation is up to the individual. However, he is amicable to gratuities. Tipping is a personal choice and at your discretion. He does accept digital tips.

What to expect: You can expect walking, birds, flowers, and an odd critter. You can bring your breakfast or lunch, and pets are also welcome.

Equipment: A DSLR or Mirrorless Camera, any lens will do. Dono will bring a wide-angle, a telephoto; however, a macro lens, and his tripod.
The trip is about a 3-hour drive for Dono to Bok Tower Gardens, and he plans to be at the gate by 7:30 AM. The gardens open at 8 AM.

Dono will post updates from his self-imposed photo assignment on his Instagram - @fotodono. You are invited to walk with him as he goes to each set-up location. Or join him at the Visitor Center, where he can review your photos and cameras. He's planning three stops outside the Visitor Center to meet fellow photographers. The first stop will be at 8:30 AM and the second at 10 AM. His last visit to the Visitor Center will be at Noon before he heads home.

• Early morning shot along the road to the Tower.
• The Tower in the reflection pond.
• Focus Stacking with Macro.
• Timed exposure with a Neutral Density filter.
• Fun little Macro shots along the way.

Bok Tower Gardens is open daily from 8 AM-6 PM, with the last car admitted at 5 PM. There is a $16 entry fee per adult.
