Photo Walk at Selby Gardens

Details

Join Foto Dono and Dr. Wade Collier for an informal photo walk through Selby Botanical Gardens to explore the ability to make macro and close-up photographs. The photo walk is for all levels of photographers on practical macro tips on equipment, composition, and depth-of-field.

Where to Meet? We will meet inside the Gardens, near spot #18 on the map, just slightly from the Café. I'd recommend arriving just before the Gardens open and using the Free Valet service. Check in and grab a map. We will officially start at 10:30 AM.

Dates and times are subject to change. Please check your email for updates.

Equipment - Although you may bring any camera, you'll get a better understanding with an interchangeable lens camera, like a DSLR or mirrorless system. You may also bring any lens you choose, but a macro lens would be more suitable. Bring a bottle of water and a decent pair of walking shoes. You can bring a tripod. However, Selby Gardens has restrictions on them in certain areas.

Fee – There is no charge for the event. Each participant is responsible for transportation and entrance fees to Selby Gardens. However, moderators appreciate tips and digital tips are acceptable for the following -
