Details

Hey guys!! I’m Audrey. I’m 39 and finishing up nursing school here in Chicago. A few years back, I ran mental health peer support groups in my apartment while living in Madrid. They went super well — I loved them, they were my passion — but when I moved back to the U.S., my focus shifted.
I’ve kept thinking about those groups over the years, so I’m starting small, online, just to see how it feels — for me and for anyone who wants to show up. I do have a 3 person minimum (including myself) so group will be canceled if only 1 person signs up.
What to expect:

  • A casual but structured, judgment-free space to share and listen.
  • A simple format so everyone has the chance to speak and be heard.
  • Sharing is always optional — listening is just as welcome.
  • Peer-to-peer connection. No one here is a professional (including me).
  • Topics discussed in past groups have included stress, anxiety, depression, sexuality, relationships, friendships, work, abuse, eating disorders, self-care, life transitions, and coping strategies — among many others.

What not to expect:

  • Therapy or professional mental health treatment.
  • A crisis service (if you’re in crisis, please seek immediate help)
