NO KINGS DAY RALLY- Lancaster

Details
WHAT: NO KINGS DAY RALLY is a national day of action pushing back against rising authoritarianism.
The NO KINGS RALLY in Lancaster is one of many taking place across the country, uniting Americans who are standing up to say: No thrones. No crowns. No kings.
WHEN: Saturday, June 14, 11:00 AM - NOON
WHERE: Binn’s Park, 120 N. Queen Street, Lancaster, PA
WHY: Across all 50 states, millions will gather to declare: The president is not a king. No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.
All No Kings events adhere to a shared commitment to nonviolent protest and community safety. Organizers are trained in de-escalation and are working closely with local partners to ensure peaceful and powerful actions nationwide.
WHO: This event is being co-organized by several local organizations (Lancaster Stands Up, Solidarity Lancaster, Indivisible MT, and Indivisible LT). We’ll hear from local veterans, healthcare workers, and more, but we also need you!
We encourage you to register here so the organizers know how many to expect (currently more than 750 folks): https://mobilize.us/s/mIknap
Courage is contagious. And taking political action is a muscle we need to practice. We hope you’ll join us and bring your friends and neighbors.
Saturdays are busy downtown, so we encourage walking if you are able. The closest parking garages are the Prince Street Garage (entrances on Prince and Orange), the Red Rose Garage, the Duke Street Garage (entrances on Chestnut and Duke), and the Christian Street Garage.
