Exploring Carneddau, absolutely fabulous scenery and away from the crowds 23km

Details

Starting form Nant y Coed Local Nature Reserve car park we will walk up to "Drum" 770M the continue on to Foel Fra 942M, this is the last of the Welsh 3000 if doing the traditional way round.
We continue South west on the Carnedd Gwenllian standing at just 926 meters before almost doubling back on ourselves towards Tan-y-bwich (Ruins).
Heading down North Eastly to pick up the old Roman road then back to our start point.
This is a varied moderate to difficult 23 km ( 14 miles) walk with 1243.21m height gain.
This is quite a tough hike for October as the weather tends to be a bit cooler and perhaps wet under foot in places.
There is a lot of up and downs but not beyond anybody who walks regular in the hills and mountains however as with most of my walks you will be challenged, whats the point of walking if your not challenged, right!!
Please bring snack, lunch, hot and cold drinks.
Few extra thin layers and water proofs and please bring gloves and a head touch with, as always with spare batteries.
If you need any more guidance on packing list let me know.
Quite obviously this is weather dependent, if rain or high winds then we will do the something at slightly lower level.
****Absolutely no trainers or open shoes, recommend walking boots or approach shoes***.
