An Eclectic Slice of Python

Details
Title: An Eclectic Slice of Python.
Sub: Not a tutorial
Synopsis:
The Python programming language has emerged as a leading language for highly technical disciplines involving science, math, and data analytics. Domains include Data Science, Machine Learning, Quantum Computing and many more.
This presentation is not intended to be a tutorial on how to write Python code. It serves as an overview that will touch on aspects of the language, the culture and the many resources available in the Python world. Insight to the capabilities of the Python language will range from simple to advanced.
Mini Bio:
Ron has been fortunate to have worked in a broad range of technical disciplines during his career. Some of these areas include digital hardware design, embedded CPUs, silicon functional architecture (VLSI), computer compiler development, image / live video processing and others.
As a provider of medical software he has utilized Python to implement a Domain Specific Language (DSL) complete with a compiler, decompiler and tool chain. His work with tool chains included research into alternative visual / graphical code capturing paradigms. Additional projects led to Machine Learning (ML) and most recently Quantum Computing (QC) both of which are laden with Python and Python frameworks. His current emphasis is on QML QC compilers, transpilers and their tool chains.
Ron has taught Python as a Community Education (CE) course and does BA$H tutoring.
Outside of the technical arena, Ron is a licensed pilot, certified open water SCUBA diver, bicyclist, wood worker and a once in a while artist.
