Samhain Sound Healing with Acupuncture Journey

Join us in Celebrating Samhain (pronounced "Sah-win") through a Sound Healing with Acupuncture Journey!

This event combines the restorative and healing properties of sound and acupuncture to create a unique and profound healing experience.
This journey begins with a little talk of the current astrological alignments (always helpful to know how the energies of the cosmos are assisting us!). You will then be guided to a laying down position (on the cushions provided) as Kyndl goes around to each participant to place the acupuncture needles. Once this is completed for each participant Jenn will begin a guided meditation with sound, which then moves into an extended period of pure sound journeying. Throughout this sound journey insturments will be played in front of the room as well as throughout the room, making it a fully embodied experience. As we complete the sound journey Jenn gently guides you back with a closing guided meditation. Kyndl will then remove the needles and we will close the space with a moment of deep gratitude for the healing journey.

Samhain is a festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or the “darker half” of the year as well as marking the halfway point between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice. It begins at nightfall on October 31 and continues until sunset on November 1 every year and is considered one of the most important festivals of the ancient Celtic religion. For the ancient Celts, Samhain was an agricultural festival that marked the time when summer ended, and people took stock of the food before winter.

It is also believed that the normal order of the universe is suspended during Samhain. The barrier between the physical world and the spirit world cease to exist during this day, which allow for communication between humans and spirits. It is a time of reflection and connection with our ancestors and all those who have departed. As we honor our loved ones and seek out their advice and insights, we can also celebrate their teachings and memories.

Samhain embodies the energy of the Crone, the wisdom keeper of the spiritual world. The Crone energy is wise, respected and a grandmotherly Goddess figure. We call upon the Crone energy for higher guidance and knowledge.

Being that it is a time when the veil is thinnest between worlds, our psychic/intuitive senses can be extremely heightened and activated.

This sound healing journey will celebrate this Celtic holiday while also guiding us through the healing frequencies of sound during this auspicious time!

Please wear comfortable pants that can be rolled up to the knees and a short sleeve shirt to ensure access to the points that are being needled.
Comfortable cushions, pillows, and blankets will be provided. Registration is required.
