About us
Hosted by The Diva Effect™, Inc.
The Diva Effect™, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, elevating, and empowering women and girls through healing, education, mentorship, and transformative community experiences. We create spaces that help individuals move from survival to wholeness and confidently walk in purpose.
REFORM™
Heal the Wound. Walk in Purpose. Live in Power.
REFORM™ is a faith-based healing and restoration community for women who desire healing, growth, purpose, and meaningful connection. Through honest conversations, shared experiences, and supportive relationships, we are creating spaces where women can move from survival to wholeness.
Whether you are navigating life transitions, healing from past wounds, rebuilding your identity, seeking direction, or simply looking for a community of women who understand the journey, REFORM™ exists so you do not have to walk alone.
Our gatherings may include:
• Brunch meetups
• Book discussions and book studies
• Wellness and healing-centered events
• Support group conversations
• Purpose circles and reflection activities
• Social outings and experiences
• Faith-centered discussions
• Community-building experiences
This is more than an event group—it is a growing sisterhood where women can find encouragement, accountability, connection, and support while pursuing healing and purpose.
Healing happens in community. You do not have to journey alone.
Disclaimer:
REFORM™ is not a therapy or clinical mental health service. We do not provide counseling, diagnosis, crisis intervention, or treatment. Our role is to create a safe and supportive community that encourages healing conversations, sisterhood, and meaningful connection. We also help connect women to appropriate resources and licensed professionals when needed. Facilitators guide reflection and community but do not provide therapy or clinical services.

I'm Not Okay (A NAMI Sharing Hope Conversation)
·OnlineOnlineMay is Mental Health Awareness Month, June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month and July is BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month. Meanwhile, Black women still continue to carry so much for our families, communities, workplaces, and churches all while silently struggling. Black women are disproportionately impacted by chronic stress-related health conditions, including anxiety, depression, hypertension, and heart disease. In fact, studies show that nearly 1 in 5 Black women experience symptoms of anxiety or depression, yet many do not seek support due to stigma, lack of access, or feeling like they have to “stay strong.”
That’s why The DIVA Effect, Inc in collaboration with Virtue Church is hosting “I’m Not Okay… But I’m Still Faithful” — a 3-part NAMI Sharing Hope Series created specifically for Black women who are tired of carrying it all alone.
This is not therapy, but it is a safe and supportive space designed to help Black women feel heard, seen, supported, and connected to resources and next steps for their wellness journey. Whether you are overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, grieving, anxious, struggling silently, or simply need a space to breathe—you are welcome here.
We are also honored to have Dr. Katina Pittman joining us to provide wellness tips, encouragement, and guidance toward additional support and mental wellness resources.
Sis, you do not have to carry everything alone. Come as you are—here, it’s okay to not be okay.
This series is completely virtual and open to Black women seeking encouragement, support, community, and wellness resources in a judgment-free space.
