Hike Alkmaar - Bergen - Alkmaar (13 km loop)

Hike: Alkmaar - Bergen - Alkmaar (13 km round trip)

Please join us on our upcoming hike from Alkmaar station to Bergen on Sunday August 3rd.

We meet at the fountain at the center side of Alkmaar central station at 13.45 hrs so we can start on time.

We will follow the green route which takes us along De Loterijlanden, a countryside that is protected and maintained by Natuurmonumenten. These lands were not popular with the farmers in the past and therefore handed over by lotary.

The lands are filled with high grass and special flower species. This attracks many bird species.

Halfway we can have lunch/drink/coffee/tea/cake at the terrace of restaurant Het Hof in Bergen. It is located in the middle of the forest of Bergen.

We will walk at a relaxed pace. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed.

Afterwards it’s time to unwind with an optional drink in the center of Alkmaar.
