Let’s enjoy the winter holidays together.
The day after Boxing Day, on December 27th, it is time to activate those muscles again and get a little bit in shape after the two days of Christmas.
Every year on this date, Wandelsportvereniging Noord-Holland organises a winter walkathon in Castricum, close to Alkmaar.
We start from Dorpshuis De Kern, 5-10 minutes walk from Castricun train station.

Castricum train station is easily reached by intercity from Amsterdam (25 mins) or Alkmaar (10 mins). We will visit villages like Akersloot and Uitgeest and enjoy the country scene.
Please subcsribe here in advance, to make the start more smoothly.
Lets meet at 9.45 hrs for coffee so we can start around 10.00 hrs. We will choose the route of 15 km. It is a markerd route with two organized breaks. Please bring water/drink and a snack with you.
