Indie Game Jams - Houston!

Indie Game Jams is a long standing tradition that Jai and Dev host everywhere they go! There have been multiple meetups in Los Angeles, and San Francisco. We recently moved to The Woodlands and we plan on continuing the tradition!

What to expect from our regular meetups:
1. Meetup starts at 2:00 PM. Informal introductions of new members, set up space, and start working. You should have your own project you want to focus on!
2. Stand-up happens around 3:00. If we have some late attendees, we sometimes hold off until 3:30. Basically everyone takes a few minutes to formally update the room on what they've been working on, what they're currently working on, and if there is a demo to show off, we set aside a few minutes to go through it afterwards.

3. Pizza at 5:30, get your munch on. We will supply the pizza at no cost, but if you want to toss some cash in the tip jar or via paypal to help the meetup it is appreciated!

4. Work and converse until late, we often run until 12:00, stay as long as you like. Feel free to play games if you need a break and invite others to join. Or just head down and power through, whatever you feel best doing, this is an open work space.

_The key is to have fun and get work done!

This meetup is one we genuinely love to host, meeting local indie and pro game devs is always a blast. Bring your authentic self and your passion projects to each session and enjoy a mixture of work and socialization with common minds!
