Pack it Up 🌽🍞🥫

Details

Let’s lend a hand in feeding Louisiana and help our Hurricane Laura victims⚜️

Each year, Second Harvest distributes 34 million meals throughout the 23 parishes of south Louisiana. Volunteers are essential to Second Harvest Food Bank. Last year, more than 19,000 volunteers assist with a variety of projects, including food sorting and packing.

Food sorting and packing duties include sorting and repacking donated food and grocery items. Volunteers help to sort through salvage groceries to ensure quality control. Volunteers also work in the warehouse re-pack room to separate food into specific categories and repack food into boxes that go out for distribution to member agencies.
