About us

VMware Exit Lab is a hands-on workshop series for people who run VMware and are deciding what to do next after the Broadcom licensing changes. Each session runs on a live Cozystack cluster — an open, CNCF-hosted virtualization platform — where you personally migrate a real virtual machine off a running VMware host, then watch the same platform run AI and GPU workloads. There are almost no slides: this is three-plus hours at a terminal, built for VMware admins, sysadmins, infrastructure leads, and platform/DevOps engineers who need to see a real alternative before committing to anything, not for a general cloud-curious audience. Sessions are free, seats are limited, and hosted by Timur Tukaev, Cozystack maintainer and Ænix co-founder. Attendees keep a 30-day test environment, a maintainer chat, take-home labs, and the option to earn the Ænix Certification for Cozystack — Fundamentals, free.
