What we’re about
Creative writing with a twist! If you've ever wanted to write a story and bring it to life using actors, sound effects, and music, then you've stumbled upon a unique opportunity. In this group, we will collectively write, analyze, and produce our own audio stories. All mainstream genres are welcome provided they remain within the parameters of our guidelines. Each week, each individual's story will be read, critiqued, and discussed until ready to be produced into a streaming-ready audio story that will be shared on the web and social media. This will be an opportunity to write, direct, cast and produce compelling stories harkening back to an Era when radio was king and imaginative storytelling was abundant.
We'll meet once a week in-person or online and discuss, brainstorm, and perfect our ideas and stories. Whether over a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and snacks, we'll work towards the common goal of producing and publishing our audio offerings. Writers, actors, directors, and audio producers are welcome!
If you would like to be added to our pool of actors to be used in productions, please specify when joining. We will call on you based on the character attributes in each individual story. If you have experience editing and producing audio with sound effects and music, please specify the programs, editing tools and hardware used in your work.
