Alderfer Three Sisters Loop

Meeting Point: Alderfer/Three Sisters East Trailhead located at 30357 Buffalo Park Rd., Evergreen, CO 80439. If the lot is full, people often park along the road to the west of the parking lot. Alltrails indicates toilets are available at the trailhead.

This hike is a loop, about 5 1/4 miles, with about 900 feet of elevation gain. It should take around 2.5 to 3 hours. For navigation during the hike, if you have the Alltrails app, you can download the route from the Alltrails link below and use it offline, in case cell coverage is not available during the hike. We will take Sisters Trail for about 1 mile to the intersection with Bearberry Trail. Follow Bearberry to Mountain Muhly Trail, to Homestead Trail, Silver Fox Trail, Ponderosa Trail, back to Sisters Trail and to the parking lot. It features very nice views.

Please check the hike status and the comments below, the morning of the hike, before leaving your house, in case of any updates due to weather or other concerns. The hike will begin promptly at 9:00, so plan to arrive a few minutes early to find the hosts and group.
