The hike is about 4.5 miles with around 700 feet of elevation gain and should take about 2.5 hours. For navigation during the hike, if you have the Alltrails app, you can download the route from the Alltrails link below and use it offline, in case cell coverage is not available during the hike. We will be using parts of the West Ridge Trail and Bear Creek Trails. This hike should have a fair amount of shade, but it is still recommended to bring sunscreen, as well as water. The hike will begin promptly at 8:30. Plan your arrival to allow time to park and find the group. Alltrails indicates there are restrooms at the trailhead. There are a few parking areas near the beginning of the hike that are within walking distance of each other. See the diagram that is included in the photo below. In the diagram, the hike route is green. Part of the hike is along a creek.
