What we’re about

Welcome to YEG Astrology — a monthly gathering for modern mystics, cosmic thinkers, and starry-eyed seekers exploring life’s big questions through the ancient wisdom of astrology. Whether you’re just getting into astrology or you’re a seasoned chart reader, this is a space to connect, learn, and grow together. All levels of curiosity and experience are welcome! We aim to meet at least once a month — sometimes virtually, sometimes in-person right here in Edmonton. Events range from themed discussions (like retrogrades, moon phases, or planetary transits) to collaborative chart readings and hands-on practice sessions. Our virtual meetings make it so that no matter where you're located, you can be part of the magic. Astrology has long been passed down from mentor to student. In that spirit, at YEG Astrology we honour that lineage by making our community a vibrant space to learn, share, open our hearts and our minds, and connect through a shared love love for the stars — as we decode the cosmos and connect through the stars. ✨

Workshops

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of astrology workshops — from foundational topics to fun, niche explorations. These events are designed to deepen your understanding, spark curiosity, and build connection within our growing astro-community. To support the time, energy, and love that goes into creating these workshops, a small fee will apply. That said, we believe astrology should be accessible to everyone — if cost is a barrier, just reach out. We’re happy to offer discounted rates, no questions asked.

Workshop details will be announced as they come, and registration will be open to everyone — whether or not you’re a regular YEG Astrology attendee.

About the Organizers

Gabriela Pineda

Bridging ancient wisdom with the present moment, I offer guidance rooted in myth, archetype, and — above all — compassion. I believe the answers to our biggest questions are already all around us, and that learning to read the language of the cosmos helps us remember what our soul has always known. The birth chart is just one way to speak this sacred language — a container for conversations that touch the heart of what it means to be human: rich, complex, ever-evolving. My approach is deeply inspired by the work of Carl Jung, the Swiss psychoanalyst who believed astrology could reflect the inner architecture of the psyche. Jung saw symbols and archetypes as keys to self-understanding and called astrology “the summation of all the psychological knowledge of antiquity.” In that spirit, I use astrology as a practical tool for honoring what he described as “the daily needs of the soul.”
